Renowned academic giant who went into self-declared exile, Dr. Stella Nyanzi, has vowed to continue exposing what she termed terrifying sexual behaviors of Kakwenza Rukirabashaija and how the local author has abandoned his three children.
Kakwenza, a former close ally of Dr. Nyanzi—both of whom fled into self-imposed exile under similar circumstances—is currently battling ongoing attacks from the outspoken academic, who identifies as a lesbian.
On Sunday, April 6, 2025, Dr. Nyanzi—who famously staged a nude protest in Kampala before fleeing the country—posted a shocking dossier on her X account, revealing that Kakwenza had sent a paltry 100 euros to his wife to support their three children.
“There is logic to my madness. Yesterday, he sent one hundred euros to the church-wife, instructing her to buy matooke and kanyama for herself and the three children he abandoned in Germany. She smiled and praised Jesus for answering her big prayers in a small-small way,” Dr. Nyanzi sarcastically posted.
She continued: “After huffing and puffing, beating his chest, stamping his long legs, hiring mouthpieces to publicly vomit lies to exonerate him, threatening all manner of harm to his church-wife, and insulting me for exposing him—he finally came to his senses. He realized I am Nalongo, and he is Kakuru.”
Dr. Nyanzi added: “If none of his friends, fans, fellow freedom fighters, and wannabes can chastise him because you’re star-struck, let me do my duty. I am a mother of twins. He is a twin. In Buganda, Nalongo has magical abilities that tame the diabolical powers of all twins. We say, ‘Nalongo tazizza!’”
According to Dr. Nyanzi, Kakwenza’s alleged abandonment of his children reveals his true character, and she has no intention of stopping her public campaign.
“A few days after I started writing and speaking about his child abandonment, he realized that no insults or lies about me would silence me. He also understood that no amount of public or private lying about the suffering of his household in Germany would deter me. Clever boy!”
She further disclosed that Kakwenza, who she accuses of falsifying reasons for asylum in Europe, has recently filed a petition for custody of the very children he allegedly abandoned.
“He teamed up with his lawyer to draft a child custody petition for the three children left in Germany with his church-wife. His lawyer served the church-wife through her divorce lawyer. This week, the divorce case in Uganda focused on the details of child custody and care. Realizing the contradictions and complexities, the sly magistrate raised the issue of jurisdiction over refugee children and referred the matter to courts in Bavaria. See? I ain’t mad,” she narrated.
Dr. Nyanzi also shared that many Ugandan women—and some men—resonated with her cause and rallied behind her call to action.
“Many solid Ugandan women and some men quickly saw my point. They responded to my daily Gwanga Mujje battle cry. They joined me in loudly ululating against this duplicitous deadbeat. They called him out for his abandonment.”
She criticized Kakwenza as a man who is quick to father many “furry pussy-cats” but abandons his own children in Germany.
“He claims to defend Ugandans oppressed by dictatorship, but neglects to protect his own family in Bavaria. Miaaaaaooow! His die-hard supporters now blame me for writing about him. Those in our political party rebuke me for compromising his security by revealing how he fled Uganda,” she said.
“Why the concern for his security while ignoring the safety of his church-wife and three children?” Nyanzi asked.
Kakwenza fled Uganda a few years ago to seek asylum in Germany—a move some fellow activists have also described as self-imposed exile.
