Museveni hands over cheques for youth livelihood project

On Saturday afternoon, the President, Yoweri k Museveni handed over cheques to different groups set to benefit from the Youth Livelihood Programme and the Women Entrepreneurship Programme supervised by the gender ministry. Robbers shot dead in jinja

Jinja. Two robbers were shot dead in Masese, Jinja municipality, Jinja district on Friday. The two, armed with an Ak 47 were allegedly planning to rob a businessman dealing in fish. A third robber was later put out of action and an AK 47 riffle recovered. Bodies of the dead were delivered to Jinja hospital mortuary. Only one of the suspected robbers, was identified as Lukwago, others are yet to be identified. The vehicle above was being used by the robbers.
