Two robbers were shot dead in Masese, Jinja municipality, Jinja district on Friday. The two, armed with an Ak 47 were allegedly planning to rob a businessman dealing in fish.
A third robber was later put out of action and an AK 47 riffle recovered.
Bodies of the dead were delivered to Jinja hospital mortuary.
