Police in Kanungu have arrested the Kanungu district Assistant Human Resource Officer for getting involved in receiving a bribe from one of the retired teachers so as to process his pension.
The suspect has been identified as Jasper Tukamuhebwa, Assistant Human Resource Officer, who was caught red-handed in Bagira Restaurant in Kanungu Town Council soliciting a bribe of around Ugx 2 million from Levi Muteraba, a retired teacher, so as to easily access his gratuity and pension.

Ms. Molly Katanga, the widow of murdered businessman Henry Katanga, has today 2nd July 2024 arrived at the High Court for the highly anticipated murder trial.
