Minister of State for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Hon. Bahinduka Mugarra, during the ‘Explore North’ awareness campaign in June 2023, revealed that the government of Uganda had allocated UGX 800 Million to develop Aruu Falls.

The Minister emphasized that the funds will support various infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing visitor experiences and promoting the site’s tourism potential to make it the World’s most romantic falls.
