Team Uganda started in winning mode in the Inter parliamentary games that kicked off yesterday 6th December, 2021 in Arusha Tanzania.

The Ugandan legislators started off on a good note with registering wins from both the men and women games.

The Ladies battled it out with their Kenyan counterparts and registered a win in the Netball competition Uganda 53: 5 Kenya.

The national parliaments of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) are participating in eight sports disciplines that include football, netball, volleyball, tug of war, golf, basketball and darts.

The EAC Inter-Parliamentary Games are important in strengthening relations between the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) and the National Assemblies in the region.
