Uganda police members through their saving group Exodus Sacco have donated relief items to the families of their colleagues who were affected by the twin blasts in Kampala.

Over 20 police officers were injured in the blasts that happened on November 16.

Led by SP Andrew Napokoli, Exodus Sacco board members yesterday handed over the relief items to the Police Commander (DPC) Central Police Station (CPS) Kampala, ASP Wotwali Ronald.

The SP Napokoli said the donation was part of the SACCO’s Corporate Social Responsibility and will be extended to all victims of the explosion.

The relief items included soap, salt, posho, drinking water fruits among others to help the families get back on their feet and stay afloat.

Two police officers manning check point at Kampala CPS lost their lives in two separate explosions that killed 8 and injured over 33 people.
