It is no longer news that Robert Kyagulanyi, the party president of the National Unity Platform, has already put his gloves off to fight bare knuckles all opposition members of parliament who disagree with his type of politics.

Ever since NUP took over the post of Leader of Opposition in parliament, many opposition parliamentarians, including those from NUP, have castigated Bobi Wine on the way he handles politics as well as opposition management in parliament.

Mathias Mpuuga, Abed Bwanika, Semujju Nganda, Bashir Kazibwe, Joyce Bagala, Lubega Sseggona, and many others have consistently expressed dissatisfaction with Bobi Wine’s selfishness and ideological bankruptcy.

Whereas legislators like Mpuuga have already lost some leadership positions in the National Unity Platform party, Bobi Wine thinks it is not enough, and he has already sworn to deny them party flags.

Mahmood Kikomeko, a renowned NUP supporter in Kamwokya, said Bobi Wine has already identified opponents to be planted against politicians like MP Semujju among others.

He said Bobi Wine’s dirty politics of blackmail, sectarianism, and deception have seen him part ways with many senior leaders in the opposition.

Kikomeko said it is not a surprise to many that hardly in four years, Bobi Wine’s dictatorship and intolerance have largely frustrated the opposition’s effort, and Ugandans no longer have hope in them.

The National Unity Platform brought mediocrity to Parliament with inexperienced MPs who ideally don’t know what to do in Parliament but spend time-fighting for jobs and stealing any taxpayers ‘money they land on.

Abbas Kalanaki, another NUP youth coordinator says Bobi’s irreconcilable differences in NUP and the entire opposition have exposed him as an intolerant novice whose aim in politics is to make money.

According to Kalanaki, Bobi Wine has portrayed himself as a person who joined politics specifically for financial gains, and he is ready to fight anybody who interferes with his business venture.

He confirmed the recent complaint by some NUP MPs accusing Bobi Wine of forcing them to pay him part of their salaries.

Bobi Wine has turned the party into a personal organization by suspending experienced politicians and replacing them with his cronies.

The political patronage in NUP and opposition is not about to end since the fights are visible and the principal is ready to continue replacing those with dissenting views instead of guidance and reconciliation.
