The Supreme Court has set dates for the hearing of 20 civil appeal cases.

The incident happened on December 13, 2023, during a civil appeals pre-hearing conference held by the Supreme Court which was presided over by Justice Mike Chibita.

Harriet Ssali Nalukwago, the Court’s Registrar said the pre-hearing conference aimed at fixing hearing dates for the cause-listed civil appeals and to determine the format for presentation of arguments and timeframes for filing written submissions.

Chibita directed the respondents to file their cases by January 31, 2024, and the appellants to file their cases by January 12, 2024.

“Rejoinders must be submitted by February 8, 2024,” Chibita said.

Present in Court were the Advocates representing the appellants.
