SC Villa Appoints Kasingye as Spokesperson, Implements Major Executive Changes

Sports Club Villa has appointed former Assistant Inspector General of Police Asan Kasingye as the club’s new spokesperson in the new changes to its executive.

The announcement was made at Mandela Group of Companies offices on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 6th Street, Industrial Area.

Other new members on the executive board include Counsel Isaac Walukaga, in charge of legal and constitutional affairs; Hajji Salim Ssemanda, Vice President, in charge of fan mobilisation; Sarah Adong, women’s affairs; William Nkemba, CEO; and Khasim Nziraguhunga, Secretary General.

Hajji Omar Mandela remains the club’s president, with Daniel Bakaki as vice president in charge of finance, Baker Mugaino as vice president of administration, and Sam Mubiru as vice president in charge of technical.

During the announcement, Bakaki noted that the club will soon unveil the programme for constructing its new home ground.

Kasingye, the new SC Villa spokesperson, stated that he was glad to be back home.

“I’m glad to be back at Sports Club Villa, and I’m grateful to the executive for the trust put in me to handle the communication department,” he said.

The new executive, under the leadership of Omar, has a major task: to rebuild and bring Sports Club Villa back to its glory.
