Lt. Col. Emmy Katabazi, the Deputy Director General (DDG) of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO), on Friday, March 3, 2023, advised S.4 and S.6 students of St. Henry’s College Kitovu to reject and desist from all forms of indiscipline and immorality, saying these vices would impede their academic journey and future careers.

“As they say that cleanliness is next to godliness, while I was walking around your school compound, I just saw smartness and cleanliness. This is a sign of discipline, and I urge you to maintain the standards,” Katabazi said.

Lt.Col. Katabazi advised students, through their leaders, to use their bodies, especially the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA), and contribute to the socio-economic transformation of Uganda.

He also challenged students to watch their discipline and become agents of peace and stability both within the school premises and in the communities where they come from, saying that it is through peace and stability that countries develop.

Students were also equipped with the ideological doctrines of nationalism, patriotism, pan-Africanism, and socio-economic transformation. They were also warned against being used to sabotage development programmes by the enemies of Uganda.
