Police in Mbale City has arrested three Imbalu boys for attacking several individuals and robbing their belongings including mobile phones.

According to ACP Kituuma Rusoke the Uganda Police spokesperson in a statement on November 19, 2024, the three suspects include Wamimbi Bosco, Watuwa Bernard, and Wabulo Moses.

“On November 16, 2024, at around 1530hrs, a group of Imbalu boys armed with pangas, sticks, and stones attacked several individuals in Katwaka Cell, Bumagenyi Ward, Industrial Division of Mbale City,” Kituuma said.

The suspects injured a man identified as Wesonga Swaib by striking him on the head with a Panga on the head and also robbed other victims of their belongings, according to Police.

“Wesonga Swaib was promptly taken to Bunampongo Health Centre III for first aid by his relatives,” Kituume noted.
