UNEB Releases PLE, UCE and UACE Examination Timetable

The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) has today the 18th/08/2022, released the Uganda Certificate Education (UCE), Primary Living Examination (PLE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) time table.

The UNEB Executive Director Dan Odongo, has revealed that a total of 1,280,172 (7.7%) candidates for the three categories who registered are set to take their final exams.

UCE will commence on 14th October with briefing of candidates, till 18thNovember, while PLE will start on 7th through to 9th November, whereas UACE will commence on 18th November – 09th December.

UNEB officials have indicated that the exams are not an end but their purpose is assess the candidate’s level of achievement. So candidates are advised to approach the examinations calmly and not to panic.

“We encourage parents and all concerned parties to ensure that learners are given all the necessary support in the remaining time to prepare well for the exams other than getting involved in examination malpractices,” Odongo advised.

The body has directed all examination centers to display candidates’ registers and time tables in time at the sitting centers for candidates to confirm status of their registration, check names, date of birth, order of names, gender, as well as subject papers registered for.

According to the statement, chief invigilators will begin the morning session at 9.am and afternoon at 2.00pm every day.

“Chief invigilators will begin the morning session at 9.am and afternoon at 2.00pm and any irregularities must be communicated to the board and explained in writing,” Odongo stated.

The board also strongly cautioned Candidates together with all persons concerned against examination malpractice in and around the examination rooms.
