The Anti-Corruption Court sitting in Kampala has convicted three Alebtong district officials over abuse of office.

The trio include; James Aula, the former Principal Assistant Secretary, Alex Ojom, the District Internal Auditor and Dellion Okello, the Assistant Records officer.

They were convicted after Court had found them guilt acting arbitrarily against the standard financial practices.

In 2018, the trio claimed to have paid UGX33 million to Kingscourt Engineering Works Ltd allegedly for borehole drilling, supply of fish cages, fingerlings, feeds and installation

But when the State House Anti-Corruption Unit carried out investigations, it was discovered that the said Company was never contracted and the items were never supplied.
