She Corporate FC Qualify to The Finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers

Uganda’s Nakawa-based team She corporate has qualified for the finals of CAF women champions league zonal (CECAFA) qualifiers after defeating Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC 2-1 in the first semi-final of the day at the Azam Complex Stadium.

Uganda’s representatives in the ongoing CAF women’s champions league She Corporate FC are expected to play Simba Queens of Tanzania in the final game of CAF women’s champion’s league zonal (CECAFA) qualifiers.

This means that the two teams are going to meet for the second time after the She Corporate lost 2-0 to the Simba queens of Tanzania in the first encounter.

According to the organizers, the winner of the tournament will represent the CECAFA region at the 2022/23 CAF Women’s Champions League.

She Corporate scored a goal in each half the first bringing in Anitah Namata with just 19 minutes on the clock hence ending the first half with a 1-0 win.

In the second half, CBE came out strong through Loza Abera who equaled the score line only for fellow in-form midfielder Phionah Nabbumba to double She Corporate’s lead through a wonderful free kick to make it 2-1.

The sports experts in the region predict that Uganda’s entering into the finals of CAF Women’s Champion League zonal (CECAFA) Qualifiers brings hope for She corporate to represent the region in at the 2022/23 CAF Women Champions League.

Commercial Bank of Ethiopia will play AS Kigali on Saturday 27th August 2022 at the Azam Complex.
