RDCs ordered to form District Service Delivery Monitoring team

The Resident District Commissioners and deputies have been tasked to form a separate district service delivery monitoring team within their areas of jurisdiction.  

RDCs, RCCs and Deputies are currently undergoing a one week retreat at the  National Leadership Institute-Kyankwanzi.

On Tuesday while delivering her address, Milly Babalanda, the Minister for Presidency directed the group to prioritise and ensure effective service delivery monitoring. 

Minister Babalanda said, with effective monitoring team, services to Ugandans can be guaranteed.

“In my newly issued operational guidelines to RDCs and RCCs, I have directed them to form District Service Delivery And Monitoring Committees in their respective areas of jurisdiction to fast-track service delivery to the public,”Minister  Babalanda said. 

She also directed the RDCs, RCCs and their deputies to serve Ugandans diligently since they represent the image of the President.  

“I gave them tips on how to excel and stand out. They are in high spirits,” She noted.
