RCC Masaka City commends ISO on monitoring and collecting PDM beneficiary statistics

The Resident City Commissioner of Masaka City Hudu Hussein has commended Internal Security Organisation-ISO, for the monitoring role embedded with data capturing of the PDM beneficiaries noting that this will put an end to mismanagement of government programs.

The RCC said that PDM is the government vehicle for accelerating wealth creation and  improving livelihood of Ugandans by delivering a big population to the money economy.

Addressing Gombolola Internal Security Officers – GISOs today on 25th March 2024 at Zebra Hotel Masaka at an opening of a PDM data capture exercise, Hussein commended ISO for developing the Zaidi application that is being used to collect PDM beneficiary information.

Noting that government has in the recent past come up with many programs that have been to some extent mismanaged, he expressed hope and enthusiasm in the job being done by Internal Security Organization through its structures to ensure complete results out of the PDM six pillars.

Revealing that by the end of June, parishes will receive the last batch of the 50m for the FY 23/24 in addition to the already received first batch at the beginning of the FY23/24, he called upon the GISOs from Masaka to be diligent in the work they are doing to support government programs

Internal Security Organization is currently carrying out a country-wide PDM monitoring and data capturing exercise with aims of mapping all the beneficiaries in the country and making surveys on how best to implement the seven pillars of PDM, with the current emphasis being Parish Based Management Information System (PDMIS).
