Police have kicked off a comprehensive head count exercise of all its pensioners across the country.

Rusoke Kituuma, the police Spokesperson on Monday, November 4th, 2024, said the headcount is to ensure accurate records and facilitate effective pension disbursement.

He urged all pensioners to participate in this process, either by physically presenting themselves at their respective district or division or by submitting their information through the District Police Commander (DPC).

“For pensioners who may be unable to attend in person, alternative arrangements can be made to provide the necessary details to the District Police Commander (DPC) of their area,” Rusoke said.

He also noted that the nationwide exercise, which commenced on November 1, 2024, is scheduled to come to an end on November 15, 2024.

Kituuma emphasized the importance of this head count and encouraged all pensioners to cooperate fully to ensure a smooth and successful process.
