Uganda’s Opposition politicians Nobert Mao(DP), Abed Bwanika(PDP), Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine(People Power) among others have joined their voices in attacking FDC’s Kizza Besigye for refusing to unite with other opposition faction to fight NRM.

Speaking at the signing of a memorandum of understanding by Democratic Party (DP), Social Development Party(SDP) and JEEMA which took place 04/04/2019 at Hotel Africana. The opposition leaders used the platform to launch verbal attacks on Dr Kizza Besigye.

The leader of people power, Bobi wine said he was disappointed with Kizza Besigye for not believing in opposition uniting and in democracy now yet he used to for the past four presidential contestations. “For a leader to say a vote cannot oust President Museveni without offering an option, it is disappointing,” Bobi wine said.

He was responding to Besigye’s comments made recently on a local radio station when he said that Uganda’s opposition cannot unit and no one can remove president Museveni with an election.

A few days ago, Abed Bwanika was quoted saying Besigye is confusing the opposition. “We are seeing Col. Besigye and his team confusing the people of Uganda, that there is no reason for us to bring a unified candidate.Every time people want to come together and unite, Besigye brings up issues,”Bwanika said.

Bwanika continued said he is not among those who can be fooled by Besigye. “He has fooled many people for too long. Am not one of the fools in this country and I will never be. They deployed a full battalion at Besigye’s Kasangati home and the same person was at mini price in Kampala claiming to have beaten that surveillance. Is that even possible? “ He said.
