Hajjat Hadija Namyalo, head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), has made significant steps today to engage the people of Kaliro, emphasizing the critical importance of sustainable wealth creation for their community.
During her visit to Bulamogi College Gadumire Grounds on Saturday, January 11, 2025, Hajjat Hadija Namyalo informed the people of Kaliro that this initiative is in line with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s socioeconomic transformation agenda.
She emphasized that thousands of Bazzukulu, women, and community members would receive capital items to launch and run their own businesses.
She stressed the importance of active participation from the local community in wealth creation programs aimed at lifting Ugandans out of poverty and enhancing their livelihoods.
Hajjat Namyalo’s visit to Kaliro District was a significant step in directly engaging with the community on accessing wealth creation resources, ensuring inclusivity for all.
She informed locals that the items they would receive, such as agricultural tools, seedlings, poultry, sewing machines, and other essentials, are designed to improve their livelihoods.
Hajjat Namyalo emphasized that the resources should be used according to the guidance of their leaders.
She highlighted the government’s commitment to poverty alleviation through the Wealth Creation, Parish Development Model (PDM), and Emyooga initiatives, stressing that the success of these programs relies on active community involvement.
Hajjat Namyalo left the people of Kaliro smiling as many received starting capital to kick off the year 2025.
