The member of Parliament for Kawempe South Hon Bashir Kazibwe, using his official Twitter account @MbaziiraKazibwe, has exposed the dirty secrets of his boss Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, the leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP).

NUP leader Kyagulanyi with his family members recently during end of year holiday in Seychelles.

The journalist-turned-politician Kazibwe, who had been out of the limelight since the 2021 general elections, broke the internet with a damning expose’ about the sources of income for his boss and his political relationship with the government overtime.

R-Lewis Rubongoya, the NUP Secretary General with the President sometimes back.

“We all know Kyagulanyi sells drugs and also was selling marijuana. Ask yourself, if he was the real opposition, why wasn’t he put behind bars? He was selling drugs and marijuana, and locals know where his marijuana farm is. Why do you think no one could touch him?” Kazibwe said in one of his tweets, adding that “Ask yourself where he got all that wealth and his colleagues Chameleon and Bebe Cool were still struggling, yet at that time Chameleon was the most selling artist.” These are all facts, ask anyone who knows about marijuana, he noted.

Bashir pointed out how Bobi Wine is a state agent planted in the opposition by the president to disorganize and dismantle the opposition in Uganda.

“Ask yourself where the money comes from, and I feel bad for the many youths that died because of the so-called struggle. Kizza Besigye was the real opposition; right now we have no opposition; all opposition parties are for the NRM; they are distractions to make you think we have,” Bashir adds.

The Kawempe South legislator accuses his colleagues in the National Unity Platform (NUP) of running different smear and blackmail campaigns against the government, such as the STOP EACOP, and sometimes against their own for political grandstanding, mentioning himself as the latest victim of several smear campaigns from within his party, the NUP.

“Democracy, and when you question them, they tarnish your name and character assassinate you and say Salim Saleh sponsored your campaigns; that’s the same thing they are doing to Erias Lukwago, and wait, they will make you believe he ate,” Bashir remarked, adding that Bobi Wine got money from European homosexual organisations masquerading as an LGBTQ+ human rights activist.

To prove his claims, Hon. Bashir noted with evidence that if Bobi Wine was not a piece of state machinery planted to divert the attention of the masses, there were going to be prolonged election riots and protests after the 2021 General Elections, like it has always been the case for Dr. Besigye.

“Remember the protests before elections and ask yourself why there are no more demonstrations.” Remember during Dr. Kizza Besigye’s tenure even after the elections, he would never give up, and he was a real threat to the government. But look at NUP, they are having luxurious weddings. Ask yourself where. This is all public knowledge.” Kazibwe concluded

When contacted by this website for a response to Kazibwe’s claims, neither Bobi Wine nor Rubongoya, the Secretary General, who was also exposed as a State House mole in the National Unity Platform, provided a comment.
