In a heartwarming display of affection, Moses embarked on a thoughtful journey to surprise his girlfriend Caro with a bouquet. However, his romantic gesture took an unexpected turn.
From Kisaasi to Munyonyo, Moses traveled from Kisaasi to Munyonyo, eager to surprise Caro and brighten her day. The scenic route along the Kampala-Entebbe express road could not dampen his enthusiasm.
Armed with a stunning arrangement of flowers, he arrived at Nyanja & Lake Terrace restaurant, Wavamunno Road, anticipating her delightful reaction.
Upon arrival, his excitement quickly turned to disappointment. He waited for over an hour, and Caro was nowhere to be seen, and her phone was switched off, leaving him uncertain.
“Earlier in the morning, I had talked to her on the phone, and I asked her to meet me at the agreed place. I did not expect to wait for her for long since I had moved closer to her area residence. After waiting for an hour or so, I ran out of patience and decided to call her. To my dismay, her phone was switched off. I tried several times to no avail and dumped the flowers in the dustbin. I called my homies and joined them at Noni Vie,” Moses said.
On meeting the boys, he told them his story, and they advised him to forget about the girl and move on with his life with another girl.
“My man, this girl is not into you. Probably she already has someone in her life. Swallow a chill pill, and pick up another girl. You are supposed to tell when a woman is not into you,” Arnold advised.
Moses’s story serves as a reminder that even with the best intentions, life is unpredictable. Nonetheless, his thoughtful gesture would be cherished by several girls because surprises rekindle excitement in relationships. He traveled from Kisaasi to Munyonyo to express his affection—a reflection that love knows no distance.
