The Federation International Football Association (FIFA) has unveiled the official 2025 FIFA Club World Cup trophy, which will be lifted for the first time at the tournament, scheduled to take place from Sunday, June 15, to Sunday, July 13, 2025.
The new trophy designed by FIFA and crafted in collaboration with global Luxury jeweller Tiffany and Co., will be presented to the inaugural FIFA Club World winners, who will be crowned after the final at Metlife Stadium in New York New Jersey.
FIFA acknowledged this development on Thursday, November 15, 2024.
According to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, the trophy represents everything the 32-team FIFA Club World Cup stands for.
”Being innovative, inclusive, groundbreaking, and truly global, the new 32-team FIFA Club World Cup deserves a trophy that represents all of this. It is both prestigious and timeless, a golden trophy that is a symbol of the future and inspired by the past. The team who lifts this trophy will hold the World of Club Football in their hands. To the players who win it, history belongs to you,” he said.
He also emphasized the significance of the trophy as a mark of accomplishment for the first-ever winners of the competition.
The 24-carat gold-plated trophy features intricate engravings that celebrate the diverse history of football including a world map, icons of footballing traditions, and inscriptions in 13 languages and Braille. The design also draws inspiration from celestial symbols and NASA’s Voyager Golden Records, symbolling the past and future of football.
The trophy will be physically displayed at the tournament’s official draw in Miami in December 2024.
