πŸ“ŒThe Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (UPDF) Engineering Brigade has embarked on the construction of Rutaraka Monument in Ibanda District as a way of celebrating Rutaraka’s heroic action of spearing a one George Harry Galt in 1905. The construction of the monument has reached 98% completion. Equally, the renovation of Galt’s monument is ongoing. The construction is part of UPDF’s commemoration of the February 6, Tarehe Sita.
