Police Speaks Out On Wandegeya Bomb Scare
The Uganda police force has cleared air about the alleged bomb planted in the KCCA gardens opposite Wandegeya police station.
Luke Owoyesigire the Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesperson says a person came and dug around the KCCA gardens opposite the police station and buried some items inside a polythene bag.
“We called our experts from Bomb squad who have un earthed what had been buried and recovered polythene bags and clothes”. Owoyesigire says.

MUSEVENI: Entebbe International Airport Is Very Safe
President Museveni has assured the country and the international community that the country's only international airport is safe from Chinese money lenders.
The president made the assurance during an interview with Reuters where he flatly denied using the airport as collateral.

Uganda- DR Congo Road Construction Project Launched
Uganda has launched a road-building project in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo aimed at boosting trade between the two countries.
Sites for the roads were handed over to the contractor, Dott Services Limited, a Ugandan construction firm, the government said in a statement on Sunday. It added that the roads "will open the Eastern part of the country (DRC) to cross border trade with Uganda".
