Uganda Cancer Crisis: Over 27,000 Unable to Access Cancer Treatment as Cases Rise to 34,000 Annually
Dr. Jackson Orem, the Executive Director, of Uganda Cancer Institute has revealed that Uganda registers over 34000 cancer cases every year leaving over 27,000 Ugandans unable to access cancer institute.
He made this revelation while addressing the media on the updates regarding Cancer Awareness Month on February 2, 2024 at the Uganda Media Center.
