On September 18, 2024, during the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA) event, Buvuma District Education Officer Hussein Bugembe expressed gratitude to the government for its efforts in enhancing education.

The head teacher of Nairambi Seed School, Ms. Faridah Namusisi, reported an enrollment of over 870 students.

Although existing schools remain overcrowded, she noted that many students no longer have to travel long distances to access education, leading to a substantial reduction in dropout rates.

The top performers included Nairambi Seed SS, St. Francis Bubanzi, Namunyolo PS, Buwanzi PS, and Bulondo PS.

He emphasized that this success is a significant milestone that the district should cherish.

Bugembe encouraged students to actively participate in their academic and social environments.

He reassured students that the Ugandan government is committed to providing education from primary through university levels and encouraged them to pursue higher education while considering their unique circumstances.
