The leader of the opposition National Unity Platform party, NUP Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, has been exposed as a dishonest person after he appeared to be walking normally a few days when he claimed his left leg had been shot at by the police.
In a trending video clip that appeared on social media, Bobi Wine appeared to be walking normally, yet he claimed to have sustained severe gunshot injuries during a clash with security in Bulindo town, Kira Municipality, Wakiso District.
According to the clip video, Bobi Wine, while walking down the stairs of his home, forgot and walked accurately using the support of his alleged injured leg, which is impossible, especially when one is critically injured, as he has been claiming.
Dr. Orech Danniel, an orthopedic professional who specialized in diagnosing and treating bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments, revealed that it’s practically impossible for a critically injured bone, especially by either a bullet or tear gas canister, to heal immediately.
Even after the alleged shooting, he was rushed to Nsambya hospital, where it was said Bobi Wine bribed the doctor to exaggerate and try to make his injuries look extremely intensive. The doctor involved in fabricating Wine’s medical form has since been suspended from Nsambya Hospital.
Police claimed Bob Wine has remained uncooperative whenever invited to give his side of the story in order to speed up the investigation process since police denied that Bob Wine was shot.
