On Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, we revealed how Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, the leader of the opposition National Unity Platform party, had ferried supporters to give a triumphant entry to Kisoro district as he went to campaign for girlfriend, Sultan Salim Tana.

A reliable source in his camp has revealed that more than 50% of the ferried supporters comprising of ruthless gangsters picked from the neighboring districts and across the border have remained in Kisoro districts and have been split into various villages with the intent to cause chaos during the polling day.

Their roles include causing a confrontation with the security, agents of the popular candidate, Rose Kabagyeni (NRM), and taking photos of such clashes to justify their loss by claiming that the election wasn’t free and fair.

According to the source, Kyagulanyi personally instructed the group being commanded by his trusted gangsters from Kamwokya and Kavule in Kampala. It has also been revealed that the same gangsters plan to abduct some of their members and later blame it on security.

As usual, it is Bobi Wine’s modus operandi to turn violent and cause chaos whenever he senses defeat in any competition, especially within the regions where he is reliably unpopular politically.

The decision by Bobi Wine and the team to leave the hired goons in Kisoro to terrorize and sabotage elections is not only unfortunate but undeserving to the Bufumbira community, who are known to be peaceful NRM supporters since time immemorial.

Bobi Wine traveled with over a hundred vehicles from Kampala to Kisoro district on Monday, November 11th, 2024, to campaign for his girlfriend, Sultan Salim, whose support on the ground has remained disturbingly low.

Bobi Wine’s character and decorum have continued to deteriorate since 2021, a shock to Ugandans who expected him to change for the better after being politically neglected by Ugandans who believe in values.

Instead of telling Ugandans what he has for them if they give him a chance, he instead concentrates on violence, tribalism, personal vendetta, attacks on the first family, and promoting homosexuality.
