These include washing your hands with clean water and soap, avoiding body fluids of Ebola suspects, allowing a trained team to burry the dead Ebola victims and above all, reporting suspected cases to health authorities.
This is because of the growing numbers of Ebola in the country, where in the last 24hours, six new deaths have been comfirmed.
ย Grace Kiwanuka, the Executive Director Uganda Healthcare Federation urged Private hospitals and clinics in Kampala to set up isolation units as the Ebola outbreak continues to ravage Uganda. She noted that chances are high that some of the contacts who test positive will initially seek care from private facilities since this outbreak is happening just at the same time when the country is experiencing a surge in malaria cases.
China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Uganda Ltd, an oil company in partnership with Bunyoro Kitara-Kingdom is training 30 youth from Bunyoro Kingdom in heavy machine operation. The youths are being trained in operating excavators and bulldozers among machines.

Police in the Indian state of Gujarat arrested nine people in connection with the collapse of a 140-year-old suspension pedestrian bridge that killed at least 141 people on Sunday.
