Mbabazi hints at bouncing back in Presidential Race

The former Prime Minister Rt Hon Amama Mbabazi has once again revealed that he will announce his political ambitions at an appropriate time .

Rt Hon Mbabazi made the remarks Dec 15th 2018 at the wedding of Kinkizi West MP Hon James Kaberuka who tied a note with his long time fiance Shallon in Kihihi Town Council, Kanungu District.

He said that he respects the institutional framework in place where voters are able to identify a person who can represent them and this should always be respected.

Mbabazi who was accompanied by his wife Jacqueline Mbabazi said that at appropriate time, he will announce his political ambitions.

” You have been saying that I kept quite, but I will at an appropriate time come out and tell Ugandans what I have been thinking” Mbabazi said amid loud shouts from the huge crowds who attended the wedding at Hon James Kaberuka residence.

Mbabazi who represented Kinkizi West constituency in Parliament said that he was happy when a young energetic man , Hon James Kaberuka replaced him and his happy with the continued developmental programs he has initiated in Kanungu and the district as whole.

Several dignitaries attended the wedding and these included more than 20 MPs, businessman James Musinguzi Garuga , President Museveni son in-law Odrek Rwabwogo , Lwengo, Kabale, and Kisoro LC 5 chairmen , Kanungu District leadership led by Canon Josephine Kasya , the business community among many others.

The function was also graced by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda The Most Rev Stanley Ntagali and his wife and Kinkizi Diocesan Bishop Dan Zoreka and a host of clergy from different religious denominations.

While speaking at the function , Hon Kaberuka hailed his mentors in politics and in particular James Musinguzi Garuga who donated 10 cows to him as wedding gift and Rt Hon Amama Mbabazi who was the Chief Guest at the wedding.

He also thanked the Archbishop, the entire Kinkizi Diocese Christian leadership , the pepple of Kanungu and Kinkizi West, his family and relatives, for making him what he is.
