📌 Health Minister, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero on Sunday confirmed a case of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Jinja District. The Jinja case is in Buyengo Sub County’s Kayalwe B Village. The second case is related to a probable Ebola death. The deceased had left Rubaga for Jinja before dying on November 3, 2022. He infected his brother who has also since passed on and was laid to rest on Saturday, 12th November 2022. For any suspected cases, call toll free number (0800299000).

📌Twelve families in Busano and Bungoko sub-counties in Mbale district are homeless following landslides that destroyed their homes, crops, and animals. 📌Two vintage military planes on Saturday collided in midair and crashed during an air show in the US state of Texas. The collision caused the planes to plummet to the ground and explode into a ball of flames, sending black smoke billowing into the sky. 📌A South Korean police official targeted for investigation following the deaths of 156 people in a Halloween night crowd crush in downtown Seoul has been found dead at his home in the capital. The 55-year-old official, identified only by his surname Jeong, was in charge of intelligence affairs at the Yongsan Police Station covering the city’s Itaewon entertainment district where the tragedy unfolded on October 29 2022.
